LandShark is an internet access program designed for title insurance and other real estate related firms that are in need of daily or occassional access to the land records in the Vilas County Register of Deeds office.  Fees are assessed to pay for support and maintenance of this system. The search and tract information is available at no cost, but  there will be a statutory fee of $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page when you view an image. Credit Card users will be assessed a $5.00 service fee each time they log in or exceed $50.00 in copy fees.  Your Credit Card will have a preauthorization amount of $50.00; you will not be charged for the preauthorization amount.

Please be sure to reference the "Notable Dates" within the Info Box on the right side of the page.  These dates will let you know what is accessable through this electronic tract.  If the information is prior to the dates listed in this section, you will need to search the manual tract index in our office or you can call our office (715-479-3660) to obtain direction for accessing documents.
